Master Class with Arko and Nishad

These two musicians weave together musical strands across the globe, mixing traditional and modern genres, styles and influences.  As they are only in town for a short time, The Willows Nest is proud to offer a Master Class with these musicians for anyone interested in cross-genre improvisation, mixing folk music styles from across the globe, including Blues, Jazz and Indian Classical musics.  Vocalists or guitarists wishing to expand their techniques and learn from touring musicians in an intimate and casual setting in dialogue with the performers; spend an afternoon refining their styles with individualized attention and collaboration with the artists in a focused, private, but technologically equipped space.  Also a great opportunity for those interested in interacting in a small group (10 maximum) to learn more in-depth about the duo’s musical practices and history, their other ensembles and performing careers.  As their appearance at the Willows Nest is the end of their 2018 performance run in Berlin, this will be the only opportunity for such an intimate artistic dialogue with these artists during their 2018 residency in Berlin.
