 very special event\, the focus will be on the history of improvised singin
 g coming out of the free jazz\, sound poetry\, and contemporary art music 
 traditions. Dr. Chris Tonelli will read excerpts from his forthcoming book
  Voices Found: Free Jazz and Singing and we will hear performances by seve
 ral of the vocalists featured in the book\, including Berlin-based vocalis
 ts David Moss\, Tomomi Adachi and Ute Wasserman\; Canadian vocalist Gabri
 el Dharmoo\; and Netherlands based vocalist Chris Tonelli\, as well as dis
 cussion of the history and theory of this vocal work.\n\nSince we're a hyb
 rid concert space/home studio - when you reach 61 Boxhagener Strasse (on t
 he corner with Neue Bahnhoffstrasse) - you'll see the door is between Cafe
  Süss and Pizza Pause.  We're in the DG on the right - name "Renee There
